I just reached chapter 33 in book 12, and tbh I’m not liking the direction this book seems to be heading. Instead of just getting on with the interesting stuff, apparently Shirtaloon is setting up another absence on Jason’s part.

Please anyone give me an overall summary of the book past this point, I don’t care about spoilers.

I’ve been getting a little frustrated with the series for the past few books, but I don’t want to DNF unless I really dislike the direction this book takes.

&gt;!I just got to the part in book 5 where Gerling killed Asya, Greg, and Kaito. I spoiled myself accidentally so I knew this was coming, but for some reason it’s really bothering me. I know in book 6 Gerling dies, partially thanks to Jason, but tbh I’d much rather Jason get some get back with the USA network. They’re the ones who set this in motion, and have been evil a**holes for a while now. So my question is, does Jason get revenge on them?<!

This is a stupid complaint, but I feel the need to share it. I just finished Ghost of Tsushima again, wanting to play it before starting Yotei. So I was in the Tsushima combat mindset for this first boss. That means I was thinking the best way to deal with it is by parrying, not realizing you can’t parry apparently yet.

So I got myself killed like 5 times, got frustrated thinking they had made the combat worse, but no, I’m just dumb and assumed false info. Did anyone else have this happen to them?
