The last 1/5th of the book is just emotional after emotional tugs. So good. I hope we don't have to wait too long for the next one. 😭

>!I'm confused about the secret around Jason's soul realm. He makes a big deal about him not wanting anyone to know its true nature, yet suddenly he goes on the underground expedition and 1) decides to send people there, 2) talks openly about using it for faster travel for gold ranks.!<

I’ve had paperback copies of He Who Fights With Monsters Books 1 and 2 for a while (bought them after reading a couple of the DCC books).

A friend recently mentioned that some of the earlier printings of Book 1 are out of print and go for quite a bit now. I took a look on eBay and saw a couple of listings for over £100 with the exact same cover, but I know eBay asking prices can be totally wildly inflated.

Mine are the Aethon Books printings with the 979 ISBNs on the back.

Just wanted to check with people here who follow the series more closely. Are these actually considered early/rare printings, or is that £120 listing on eBay just someone dreaming? What’s a realistic value for them if I decide to part with them?

Went back and relistening to the audiobook series while waiting for book 13 but my timing was very much off I finished book 7 today then decided might as well at least start book 12 and listen to as much as I can before 13 comes out to help get into pase, but the time Jump between 7 and 12 in the events that happen in between is quite the jump. The tear jerking ending of 7 to >!stashes letter!< at the start of 12
