It’s a little much. I love his books but not every animal mentioned needs to die horribly. I’m reading The Deep right now and >!I’m sure LB dies in some horrible way!!< a book can be unsettling without multiple scenes of animals being tortured and murdered, I came for the people dying, not the animals.

Budget is around 1500 (which I know isn’t a lot but is the best I can do) for buying (not picky as long as it runs) and 100/month for a temporary loan.
I’ve been unemployed for a year and finally have a job in the works but no way to get there, getting very nervous and desperate and about to be homeless with my cat.
Edit: the max is now 1500 which really really doesn’t help
My absolute max is $2000 and I’m not picky at all as long as it runs.
