Hazwaste left all over the stock room

The first two pictures are opened and used returned and damaged items in shipment behind the counter at store 706 D121.
The last photos are of opened and leaking peroxide bottles lined up, blocking the hazwaste boxes, and most are not properly sealed. And a box of hair masks that had all leaked in the box. Nothing was sealed or cleaned.
Also many of these damages were not damaged out in the system properly. So our inventory was a bit messed up lol

When I was assistant I was on top of this but the store manager who took over at the store disregarded hazwaste and would leave the registers and back room like this. Believing sorting and taking care of hazwaste was not as important as pushing sales on customers. But I’m sure you like that right, corporate?

Will corporate ever listen to us or let the company die?

There is so much disgusting and illegal behavior going on company-wide. They know they can do this because they know we need the peanuts they pay us. I may not work there anymore but I’m appalled at what I observed in the operations as an assistant managers.
Corporate, I know you’re here, I know you’re watching. So I’m just going to reiterate what you ignored:

Dear N********* Conatser,

Hello, Mr. Conatser, I hope this message finds you in good health and spirits. I am employee *****and formerly the assistant manager at Store 706 in District 121. While I understand my position has been terminated from the company prematurely, I would still like to speak with you on an important matter regarding Store 706 and management within District 121.
In the nine months I spent as an assistant I saw countless disregard towards workers’ rights, employee retaliation, favoritism amongst managers, and general mistreatment of employees.
In my management position, I witnessed the advice of my District manager Danyelle G, encourage managers to make employees uncomfortable (reduce hours by almost(sometimes over) 50%), attempt to give full-time employees part-time hours, and encourage managers to manipulate employees into quitting or transferring to other stores by giving petty write-ups (no verbal warning), and scheduling them outside of their availability. I see this as a trap for write-ups.
I personally witnessed this treatment happened to my associate (name) after being written up for insubordination by Danyelle G. The “insubordination” was associate accidentally accepting a counterfeit bill. She did not receive a verbal warning and immediately received a write-up. Before calling (associate) into the meeting with me and the store manager at the time, Veronica P, Danyelle said, “I can’t stand her and dumb red lipstick.” Which, in my opinion, is extremely unprofessional and immature behavior towards an associate who made a mistake. After the discussion with (associate), she encouraged Veronica and I to give her “hard tasks” and hound her about transferring to a store closer to her home, so that she would eventually transfer or quit the company completely.
When (associate #2) created an HR violation against manager  Veronica P, Veronica departed. However, the HR case with (associate #2) was still clearly discussed when new manager P Henrich had begun in June.
P said he did not want to give associate #2 hours so that she couldn’t accumulate sick or vacation hours. And also said he did not want to schedule her “due to all the trouble she has caused the company.” This was his first week in. He should not know about any HR cases, that is confidential, yet he knew. And he retaliated against associate #2.
Later, I spoke with HR backing up associate #2 as a witness to what had happened. Shortly after, P had reduced my hours to only 30. I am full-time required at least 32 hours a week. If not I lose my benefits. I reminded him of this. He continued to try and schedule me 30 and below. This was directly after the HR call and a 3-day medical leave I was required to take and had a doctors note and sick time to cover it. I find it hard to not see this as direct retaliation. I have been in touch with HR and they have been less than helpful.
Lastly, P Henrich is creating a toxic work environment. He is not assisting on the floor, has very little product knowledge, during shipments he does not understand where most things go, and asks other employees to manage their coworkers. He hides behind perceived conflict and will not reprimand his crew. And due to his other job, does not work most weekends.
He has little to no interest in training new team members and leaves majority of the training to (associate #3), a full time employee at 706. He often ignores many operational duties such as going to the bank, filling out the deposit log, and updating brand standards. The biggest offense is that he does not pay attention to hazardous waste. I have several photos of hazardous waste left all of the stockroom, not in bins, and hazardous waste in the wrong bins. When i informed him that I needed to fix the hazardous waste in the back room before hazardous waste could come he told that it was “a waste of time when we could be in the floor making sales.” Haz waste had come and P told me, “it’s okay we don’t have to worry about hazardous waste, the guy who came said he doesn’t care.”
As well several other associates have heard P make sexual remarks on customers and flirt with them. Going so far to tell the other girls there is “too much eye candy” there. That is not a professional thing to say at work in my opinion and left many girls there feeling uncomfortable.
And lastly, on September 17 I went on a short leave due to a deceased family member and promised I would be coming back to my position on the 25th but would be demoting. A week later I notified them that when I came back i would be working my last two weeks. However, Danyelle G messaged me to tell me I would no longer be needed and terminated my employment with the company despite being promised my leave would be protected.
I did not want to leave the company or the store. I love Sally beauty and I love store 706, the customers and the crew were the love of my life for the past year and the store I worked at before was my everything. I send this message to you, not out of anger, but since I had been terminated I never got a chance to speak my piece on what is going at 706. As somebody who cares deeply for the store I used to manage and the crew still there, I just wish there would be change within the district.
Store 706 has lost six employees since July, and I think it may be worth it to look into the operations of that store. I only see the turnover rate becoming higher, and it is a beautiful store that I think could flourish very well but a lot has been lost on many managers of Store 706.
Thank you for your time and for allowing me to trust you well enough to convey these feelings to you and thank you for my time spent at Sally Beauty. I hope you have a beautiful rest of your day.
