Bike submerged in water. Need advice!

Hi folks, need some advice, feeling really concerned right now 😢

Last night, my Royal Enfield Hunter 350 got submerged in the basement parking of our apartment due to waterlogging. Water level was almost up to the odometer/instrument cluster.

I’m honestly pretty disappointed because apart from regular servicing, this would be my first-ever service centre visit for an actual issue. The bike has been flawless so far, and this is a pretty extraordinary situation.

- I have comprehensive insurance (including own damage/1st party) with ICICI Lombard.
- Planning to call RSA tomorrow morning and get it towed to the nearest RE service centre.
- I have NOT tried turning it on, inserting the key, or doing anything electrical yet.

Wanted advice from folks who’ve gone through something similar:

- What should be my immediate next steps?
Anything specific I should tell the service centre to check?

- Should I directly involve insurance from day 1?
Any common mistakes I should avoid in a flood/submersion case?

Any advice or things that can make this easier from here would really help. Thanks 🙏

Its really difficult to reach to customer service and now The customer service guy keeps on hold for 10 mins at a time instead of getting the problem solved.
