Transfer Credit Help?
I’m looking into UMPI for a BLS so I can finish a bachelor’s for CFP requirements. I attended a private university for 3 years before COVID/life interrupted things. I completed all my gen eds plus the coursework for my Theatre major and Anthropology minor, and only needed additional credits to graduate.
I received my transfer eval and out of 157 credits, only ONE class transferred as a direct equivalent. Everything else came in as electives, so my audit shows I’d still need almost all gen eds and major requirements, basically 90+ more credits.
My enrollment specialist sent me the credit re-evaluation form, but it only allows 3 classes at a time and asks for syllabi. I don’t have syllabi from 6+ years ago, though I may be able to find course descriptions.
Has anyone dealt with this? Is it worth repeatedly submitting re-evals with course descriptions, or is this normal and unlikely to change much?
