Random off-topic question for Westerners living in Saudi 😂

Before I ask my question, I just want to say I'm not Saudi. I was born and raised in Jeddah and still live here. Alhamdulillah, I'm grateful to Saudi Arabia for the life I've had here. May Allah continue to bless and protect the Kingdom, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the Al Saud family.

Now for my random question. 😂

I'm originally a guy from a South Asian country, but I was born and raised in Jeddah. I'm also fluent in the local Hijazi dialect, although I definitely don't look like a local LoL and most of my close friends online are Westerners through PlayStation and social media. Here in Jeddah, I also have a couple of close Italian and German friends that I hang out with occasionally.

It just made me wonder... how do Westerners here generally see South Asians? I don't really see many Westerners and South Asians hanging out together, so I'm curious if it's just my observation.

If you're a Westerner living in Saudi, would you be open to being friends with a South Asian? Or do you already have South Asian friends? I'm genuinely curious to hear your thoughts.

No hidden agenda, just a random shower thought. 😂

Assist me please

Hey everyone,

I work full-time in hospitality and I'm just looking for a way to make some extra money on the side. Nothing crazy.

I've looked into things like freelancing, remote work, affiliate marketing, etc., but it's hard to tell what's actually worth the time and what's just people trying to sell a course.

For those of you who are making money online, what do you do and how long did it take before you earned your first 💵?

Just looking for honest advice from people who've actually done it.

Chill and play game?

26M from Jeddah here 👋

Introvert by nature, kinda a lone wolf haha, but I’m looking to meet good people to vibe with and build a genuine friendship.

I’m into chill hangouts, PlayStation sessions, deep/random debates that somehow end in laughter, late-night coffee talks, memes, music, and just enjoying good company without drama.

Honestly, any gender is welcome, as long as there’s mutual respect, kindness, good energy, and a sense of humor. Bonus points if you can switch from serious conversations to absolute nonsense in 2 minutes 😂

Also, just being real, I’ve been judged before because of my ethnic background and appearance, so if that’s the kind of mindset you carry, we probably won’t click. I value kindness, open-minded people, and making others feel comfortable around me.

I speak English, Arabic, and a few other languages commonly spoken by expats here, so I usually get along with people from different backgrounds pretty easily.

Not looking for anything complicated, just real connections and people who enjoy simple good times.
