I'm considering two apartments: #1 is near Pennsylvania & E 11th Ave; #2 is near Elizabeth & E 13th. They seem similar to me, but would appreciate any pros/cons for these specific locations.
I visited the Chelsea Physic Garden in London recently, where I saw this beautiful wildflower area. I’ve never had success trying to achieve this in an urban setting in zone 7, northeast US. Any recommendations for a specific brand of wildflower mixes? Soil type and conditions?
VCE to LHR British Airways, 14:45 departure. Very disappointed with this BA flight and not recommended for several reasons. First, days before my flight, I researched the same on FlightAware and found that every departure in the prior week was delayed 60-180 minutes. My flight indeed departed about 90 minutes late. The gate boarding was chaotic, as one of the agents left for her break in the middle of boarding, leaving only one agent. Then there were more surprises: boarding requires going down a ramp, including about 20 steps, which was difficult to manage if you had bags. Then, we had to wait for a bus on the tarmac. Once on the bus, we waited in crowded conditions for 20 minutes. At the plane, we then had to carry bags up 20-30 steps into the plane. Then it was announced we would wait 40 minutes for a takeoff slot. On board, there was no entertainment system at all. After landing at LHR, the gate was not available, so we had to wait 30 minutes, and then finally deplane onto the tarmac for bus transport. Multiple passengers missed their connecting flights.
Has anyone tried this new way to pay for vaporetto tickets? I'll be there for 8 days and will get a weekly pass, but wasn't sure if you can add the weekly pass to a mobile phone credit card.
