Since Absolute Flash #2 has been out for a while now I hope this isn’t considered a spoiler but I have an idea for an absolute Firestorm since his fury of firestorm mini series is doing pretty well!!

Instead of it being the tradition highschooler, and genius scientist share one body idea— maybe have it be Ronnie Raymond and Jason Rusch that share the body. I think it would be interesting if the “they” that’s referred to here is Doctor Stein and (since he’s not the most trustful person rn) you have him be a mad scientist type of character who created the matrix. So that would leave Ronnie and Jason on their own to figure out what has happened to them, potentially both of them fighting for control of the body, and stein can be the new bad guy.

Okay I’m newer to Reddit in general, so I may have posted this in the wrong subreddit (I’m so sorry if I did) but I’m 17 years old, I’ve grown up reading DC Comics, and I want to be a comic writer. Now I’m no artist so these are all the concept designs I could make!
The story as I’ve written it so far would be a 12 issue mini series similar to that of Batman: Dark Patterns (one of my fav recent books) it would center around Stephanie brown for the first six issues then Batman for the last 6. The rundown is that upon meeting Commissioner Gordon at a grisly crime scene Batman is convinced that it’s connected to a string of murders he believes is being done by the Order of Saint Dumas and Azrael, He leaves Steph at the scene (setting the tone of her having to work alone). After a day out with her friends at a soon to be closer art gallery she gets a note by her apartment door from “The Watcher/Onlooker” I haven’t decided yet, she does some investigating, including fighting Prof.Pyg and the Dollmaker. So the two of them race in opposite directions to figure out who is right about the killer, steph or bruce.

Steph would eventually be kidnapped by the Watcher/Onlooker at the now closed art gallery. While investigating she gets into an argument with an older homeless man who complains that superheros are far too focused on large crime to see what’s truly going on in the city. Batman at the time would be midfight with Azrael and it would cut back to Batman speaking with Alfred over his regret for how he treated Azrael who’s now basically a walking corpse due to the system. He would realize mid fight Steph was right and he’d see her tracker went offline— this would trigger a semi panic attack and an almost remake of the events leading up to Jason’s death but now for him trying to save Steph. This is mostly all I have so far, I’m sorry if it’s confusing, I’m writing this very late my time, and this is my first time actually trying to write a story.
