I had this in the comments of another thread but it got buried, I’m wondering if purple patch is normal color change from shedding or perhaps blood flow to the stomach since he had quite a large meal or something else, what do we think? Water was tested today and parameters are okay - did a 30% water change and conditioned just in case as that’s what the other thread suggested.

I’m not sure that they were like this yesterday, only had them for a month or so. Any ideas? They’ve been tucked in like this all day

He has grown so big in the last 3 weeks that I am concerned he might be an African clawed frog.
