Anyone had issues with doctor trusting CGM?

I recently had an appointment with my PCP and mentioned I’ve been struggling with intense tiredness and brain fog and it has been particularly bad after eating. I am a vegetarian so I asked for the to check my blood/iron levels etc thinking maybe it is related to that. The same day I had my PCP appointment, I also had decided to try a CGM based on a friends recommendation.

CGM dropped below 55 after I ate and stayed there for 30 mins until I ate some candies I had. I shared the results with my doctor and she basically said there is nothing she can do with this information and to stop using the CGM because it is just going to give me more anxiety.. then she went on to question the accuracy of CGMs for non-diabetics because my A1C was normal.

I’m feeling a bit confused. How else would I know that I have low blood sugar after eating unless I tested myself for it? Also, is CGM not the best way to do that?

Has anyone else had a doctor tell them to ignore results and stop use?
