I love that the system will drop in an order for me to pick and give me a little notification about it, that's useful information as is knowing how big it is.

What's less useful is telling me I have 90 minutes to pick it when I have less than 60 minutes. Deadass, the amount of times I have seen this notification for a new order to pick drop between the xx:55 and xx:59 minute mark is absurd.

I don't know whether it's faulty programming that just gets the time wrong. Or maybe it's a faulty system that's supposed to give us a minimum of 90 minutes to pick the new pick but takes 10-30 minutes to actually process the order before giving us an opportunity to pick it.

Because if these orders are supposed to give us a minimum of 90 minutes to pick them then they really need to work on fixing that.

I'm not a fan of how the system will just batch together pre-picks.

Like, before I could pick 1 order at a time and prioritize orders that were either during the early morning when we have like a single person scheduled or during periods of time I know are generally busy. For awhile now it's just been batching them together as they drop in the system, which is annoying.

I can generally understand batching orders due that same day together, even if I think the way the system itself works is dumb, but doing it with pre-picks is just dumb dumb dumb.

It also separates them by section, which is pretty annoying. Particularly annoying when I'm picking an order for the next day and can't grab certain things because they will be fresher/have better dates the following day. So I end up having multiple totes with like a single bag in them rather than just using a single tote if I just picked 1 order at a time, or at least the whole order at a time rather than in sections.

I really hate when it batches an order for the current day with a pre-pick for the next day. Like, just let me take care of the orders due today separately from the stuff for tomorrow.
