Reapplying via ORA

Is there anyone here who applied just before ORA opened for disability retirement applicants? I wonder are we able to reapply using ORA? The timeline for adjudication seems to be much more efficient.

I applied in June via paper, received my CSA number from OPM in early August and submitted an inquiry to OPM last week. My application hasn't been assigned for review yet.

Right now I'm entering the EEO counseling process after my agency denied my most recent RA request.

Iron infusion

So I got my iron results back this week (see screenshot 😬) and my doctor recommended VitronC every other day. I asked her about iron infusions too but she said that's typically for when ferritin falls below a 7 or 8...which like, mine is already 15 so I'm not that much far off from that.

Either way she's going to recheck my iron results in a few months to see if the VitronC helps improve my levels.

Though I'm strongly considering going to a hematologist for a 2nd opinion. Does anyone have DC/DMV area recommendations for hematology? GW or Medstar?

Flyest Tea Co./Ivy's. What happened?

Does anyone know what happened to Shanae, the Black woman who owns Drink Flyest Tea Co., formerly know as Ivy's Tea Co? I started drinking loose leaf tea during COVID and I used to religiously order it from her to the point I had given up coffee. 😅

If anyone here does know her personally, I hope she is alive and well.

From Florida to VA to TX.

I ordered an item that was shipped from Jacksonville, FL and arrived at a UPS facility in Richmond, VA on 5/12. Now, 3 days later it is in Haslet, TX. Mind you...I live in Maryland, less than 2 hours away from Richmond....😤

How does this even make sense?
