If you got that Bobby bag on your door today…

Baltimore’s Day of Democracy!

To everyone who showed up today — thank you. We didn’t hit 10,000 bags, but we came damn close. That’s what radical hope looks like when it takes to the streets.

If you didn’t get a democracy bag, we’ll have them, signs, buttons, and hugs at the farmers’ market under the JFX from 9:30am to 11:30am.

Quick note for clarity about the “completely volunteer campaign” statement: unlike some campaigns in this race, we don’t pay our canvassers. Every person who knocked on a door or dropped a bag today did it because they believe in this community. That’s the difference between a grassroots campaign and a machine. Today, you saw it in action.

Five weeks until the election on June 23. Let’s finish this, Baltimore! Love ya! 🤙

May Day is this Friday, May 1st. Activities begin at 2:30pm in Druid Hill Park (teach ins, music, fair-like atmosphere) and rally/march begins at 4pm.

Dozens of organizations have been involved in crafting this single, large cooperative event. I do hope you find the time to attend and let your voice be heard. 💛
