What's something you think the audience wouldn't be mature enough to handle happening in RWBY?

I'll start. Imagine if in the epilogue they show the future and Blake is married to Sun instead of Yang. I'm not saying this should happen. It would be shocking, and I don't think either fans or haters of Bumbleby would handle it well. You'd have some accusing the writers of queerbaiting with Bumbleby just because Yang didn't turn out to be Blake's forever person, while others would be saying this is proof that Blake was straight all along, which isn't really how sexuality works

Which bothers you more, Emerald's redemption or Neo's second chance?

Both had mixed responses. To be honest, I'm not that bothered by Emerald's redemption. I feel like it was foreshadowed in volume 6. I am also relieved that they didn't kill off their only major dark-skinned character. The only thing I think the writers should have done differently with her is that they shouldn't have let her be forgiven so easily by the heroes.

Neo's second chance, however, irritates the hell out of me. Her backstory is not sympathetic enough to warrant it, and I am SO SCARED that they're going to pull the same tree crap with Salem. It feels like tat is what was foreshadowed with what was done with Neo.

How would you have written Cinder as redeemable?

We all know canon Cinder won't be redeemed at this point. But how would you have written her so that her redemption arc would have been believable and even desirable to the fandom?

I'll start. Basically, I would make her a gender equivalent of Adam if he were totally sincere: instead of being an abused faunus who wanted a better world for the faunus, she would be an abused woman who wanted a better world for women and girls. I would make it so that her allusions were both Cinderella and an Amazon. After years of abusing her, the madame sold her to an abusive adult man and that shaped Cinder's worldview. Salem rescued Cinder from that man and presented herself to Cinder as a feminist savior who was going to create a new world for women and girls (while actually only caring about her own selfish goals). Cinder would be a villain with decent motives, but terrible methods and would eventually have a change of heart after learning the truth. She may or may not survive.

What would you do?
