Hey guys,

I tried learning languages through TV shows, but the manual process completely ruined the immersion. I’d miss a phrase, pause, check the subtitles, look up a dictionary, rewind, and play again.

So my friends and I built a web player called Frameling to automate this.

It automatically loops every single scene/line in 3 stages:

1. With subtitles (to adapt your ear to the pace)

2. Subtitles + Translation (to instantly grab the context)

3. Audio only (the text disappears, forcing your brain to recognize it by ear)

It runs entirely in your browser (no server uploads for video privacy).

We’re looking for some honest feedback from language learners. Does this type of repetition loop make sense to you? What features should we add next?
