BSN question
So I will be shortly arriving in the Netherlands and I wanted to know if the plan I have in mind for my BSN can work. As the situation is currently, I will be subletting an apartment, the address of which I cannot use to register, as the current owner is registered there and the apartment doesn't allow for multiple registrations (I am aware that this is technically illegal).
I have been told that I can register in the non-residents database to get my BSN, and then change that over to a normal BRP registration when I get a proper apartment. The plan is to do so within the four month timeframe that the non-resident BSN is valid for. I want a BSN so I can get a part time job, as well as basic healthcare, a dutch bank account and all other things it is used for.
My question then is, is this a valid plan? I know the situation is not ideal, but it is what I could manage to do so I didn't have to postpone my studies for next year. Will I run into any issues with an RNI (non-resident) issued BSN? Can I indeed change it over to a normal BRP registration when I get a proper home?
