My first Canik, bought this one at the same time as I bought another gun for competition use - this one is solely for fun and eyecandy.

So far I am really liking it! I was initially torn between the Rival S and the TTI Combat, but I reasoned that since I was going to use the 2011 for competition, it didn’t make sense to get the Rival too.

Maybe if the Prime Radian comes to Norway, and it is not stupidly priced here, I might get that as my next Canik.

Until then, I need to track down a threaded barrel for this one, so I can try it out with a suppressor!

My first 2011, and it’s a 5" Romulus. Really enjoying it, seems like a really good plattform to build on. Had it for less than a month, and have run about 1100 rounds through it already, mostly 124grs S&B and Norma ammo, and it has been flawless.

I have been adjusting the sear spring to the point where the trigger is light, but retains all functionality, however, I think I might have done too much, as the reset isn’t as pronounced as it was. I suspect I have tuned this spring to the max, any suggestions to 3rd party springs?

On the topic of springs, I have been trying to find out what weight the stock recoil spring is, anyone know?

Next upgrade for it will be those ignition parts, and perhaps a new trigger. Gripmodule will have to wait, as does a new threaded barrel, being in Europe makes obtaining those from the US harder as they usually don’t ship internationally, and the barrel needs to be purchased through our equivalent of an FFL.
