In season 3 episode 7 Leonard and Penny have their first major fight after she casually lets a male ex-musician friend stay over at her apartment without telling him first- my thoughts on this below but I am curious to hear your ideas
I really agree with Leonard here, Penny seems to not respect his boundaries or take him too much into consideration during the first part of their relationship. She does lead with an attitude of " he is lucky to be with me". I think their first breakup was unavoidable taking into consideration the lack of respect and consideration that Penny had for Leonard.
