Will love to hear from Mitsubishi PAJERO owners on whether to look for a 3.5 or 3.8L version.

Background:
- looking to get our first family 4x4 for light off-roading mainly to get to camping locations in the dessert and occasionally beaches where it’s allowed.
- no dune bashing planned.
-our budget is max 55k AED for a 2nd hand.
- when purchasing any typical issues to look out for?
- for cards with 150k km, what would I need to spend to make it reliable.
- no major intercity driving, just the occasional road trips with family and the camping gear and supplies. So fuel consumption not a top priority.
