Hi all, apologies if this is the wrong subreddit - delete if not allowed!

I had a guy come out to fix an issue with a sewer pressure pump and whilst he was at it, he mentioned an "upgrade" he's been doing on some of the older systems he deals with. He may have just been up selling me, but when I asked him how much total for the jobs (original call out and what he was mentioning) he said $1000-1200 depending on labour.

Cut two weeks ahead, he's just sent me an invoice for $2500 bucks. Is he taking the piss? Invoice attached for reference.

Of note, he was on site for 2 hours 20 minutes and didn't take anything back to a workshop for fabrication or anything.
