I made this mask some years ago. It’s not perfect and the paper mache layers are visible but I love it. It took about 4 weekends to complete and won me a costume contest. I wanted to show it off before I alter it for a new cosplay. Swipe for progress pictures
So happy to share this piece. Acrylic on canvas. Everything in the painting is from the 24hr stream thrown together into a still life study, including the contestants’ blankets being used for the background curtains.
Wubby said that people might not enjoy watching 24hr tag live but it ended up being a huge hit with a lot of heart in the moments in between punishments. I wanted to highlight that.
