Has anybody had any experience traveling to specifically Egypt or even other countries in the Middle East as a felon? I am currently on federal felony probation but am in the process of getting early termination. I have never had a violation and have all my debts paid. In the event that I don’t get off in time for the trip or even if I do get off will just having a felony conviction stop me from being let into the country? It is my only charge and it is simple assault on a federal officer, which is considered a violent crime.
