1992 mercruiser 5.7 carb rebuild.

For the life of me I cannot find the serial number on this carb to order a proper rebuild kit. I’ve ordered 2 that were supposed to be for a 92 mercruiser 5.7 and both are wrong.
Any idea where the serial number is?

1989 johnson 150 carburetor

I’m chasing down a bogging issue when accelerating only when the engine is warm. Started to clean the carbs and I noticed this. The bottom carb has a different top plate style is this normal

So I blew a tire on my 2003 mgm and have been looking into getting mustang rims replacements.
Looking to get these mustang rims. Wanting to know if I’ll need a spacer or not. Will I run into any issues with rubbing.

Cruise control not working 2003 mgm

My cruise control does not work. The cable is attached and is in good shape.
I’ve done a little research using this forum (https://www.crownvic.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2895686)
Pin 5 and 6 are used to diagnose the cruise control buttons. I get the proper ohms when pressing the off button but no voltage when pressing the on button. And no ohms when pressing the others. All other pins have the correct readings.
Does the car have to be moving for this test to work?
Something to note my airbag light is on / flash when the car is running
The buttons themself do not feel sticky and give a nice auditable click when pressed.
Horn does work regardless of where the steering wheel is.
I’m thinking it might be the clock spring going out. Does anyone have the pin diagram to test the clock spring to rule it out.
Any other ideas to test?

Torque converter shutter

I have a 03 mgm (170k miles) that has a shutter at light to mild throttle at cruising speeds. Transmission is not slipping or acting weird in any other way. I’m assuming it’s torque converter shutter. Fluid is visually dirty on the dip stick. Not sure if it’s ever been changed.
What options do I have?
Fluid change? Fluid flush? Thicker fluid?

I will be swapping the torque converter in 6-8 months when I swap a 4.6 4v in.
