I know sirens, decals, lights are huge no-nos but could you keep the PA system with the microphone?
Literally no other reason to keep this besides the novelty and ability to yell at my friends from the car but what’s the legality on these?
I assume as long as you aren’t impersonating an officer, using it to direct traffic or yell at motorists it’s legal?
My ‘99, bought from a used dealer in february 2019, after the original owner crashed it or something according to carfax idk.
car lived in Michigan then original owner moved to NH in the mid-noughties.
in 2019 i was driving a hand-me-down Grand Marquis but wanted a town car so I paid $1600 for this disgusting 110,000 mile rusty piece of garbage with broken speed control, broken ABS, broken driver window motor, oil leaking out the heads onto the cats, dryrotted tires, i dont remember what else lol.
vinyl roof blew off on the highway in fall 2021 or 2022, its kinda a blur.
anyway i still drive the car, i’ve “invested” (read: sunk) over $10000 in it and i guess it’s love. over 155,000 miles now. car’s gotten me from NH to Philly once for a concert , once to central Jersey for a college tour, to a junkyard in CT for an axle assembly, and all over NH and MA.
registration is $160/yr and insurance is $38/mo, gas is whatever, i think it’s cheap overall.
I was trying to install a center console and I tried drilling a hole through what i thought was the metal base of the body.
I found out later, after I was hearing metal scratching on metal from the long screw I put, That i was possibly scratching the transmission pump or drive shaft. I instantly took it off and the noise went away. I was only driving for like 3-5 min trying to discover the noise, did i cause any sever damage or am I okay?
Took more shots of the vic as well as better ones of the interior.
She's looking gooooood
I got a little car just like my 1981 LTD Crown Victoria. Lets take a drive.
Looking for a new radio as mine has only am/fm. Any ones that you guys would suggest?
I wasnt the happiest with how tucked in the wheels were, now its perfect in my opinion, almost flush with the flares.
I designed a spotlight hole cover to reduce wind noise on the P71. It uses the same geometry as the OEM trim piece, so it just snaps in place. I hope someone finds it helpful.

I found a 1990 crown Victoria with 60,000 original miles for sale near me it runs & drives and the guy wants $500 for it,
Would this be a good buy? I need a good interstate vehicle and want to know if this is a good option for that,
It has no structure damage, but it does have a dented rear quarter panel on the passenger side, please help me figure out if this is a good buy or not. Thank you,
I named mine after the nice old lady I bought it from. Meet Marjory, my white 07 Mercury Grand Marquis, LS with 41k, full white leather interior.
My mods; CarPlay head unit, Kicker Comp10 Sub w/ custom box and Alpine amp, rear sway bar and tints (back limo%, fronts 40%).
The car lot stuck in a staple in slot of the ac relay multifunction slot and my a/c did work but my battery kept draining every day. With another ford brand fuse in the slot my ac doesn’t kick and my compressor doesn’t spin. All the ac does is spit out warm air. - I wish I had more but that’s it. I’m referring to the top fuse box ontop of the ac.
Overfilled the trans fluid. Whats should i do? How harmful is it to the trans?
Stumbled upon this beauty today. 1 owner vehicle, he plans on keeping it until he “kicks the bucket”. Awesome condition and very cool owner
If any of you have owned multiple crown Vic’s what year would you say is the best? I heard Ford started to do cost cutting after 2008 so would earlier “refined” years be the best to get or is newer the year the better it is?
I don't know the service history but since it has 60k miles would I be fine with a full flush?
