help should i do rotc???
i am a incoming freshman in college studying nursing on a 4 year nursing track (BSN). I am DESPERATE to get out of my house— i’m commuting to college. I looked into rotc a bit ago, but kind of put it to the side. Now, it’s seeming like a good option for me. I know it may not be guaranteed, but i’m really interested in the benefits— mainly the scholarships for tuition or room and board. I don’t have the greatest family environment at home and i’m commuting right now, so that scholarship for room and board would be a godsend. Don’t worry, i’m also interested in everything else rotc has to offer. My problem is, would rotc and being a nursing student be too much? I’m still not sure what branch to join either: my school has their own army rotc branch, but if i were to do either air force or navy i’d have to commute to neighboring schools to be a part of it. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
