CIA with Tom Ellis

Hello everyone.

This is kind of a rant. I loved the show lucifer! It was so good with Tom Ellis.

So imagine my surprise when I noticed they started a new show with him that seemed super interesting on Paramount Plus, CIA. I started to watch it and got like 2 or 3 episodes in the first season, really getting into it. Then suddenly, I could not watch it anymore. The entire first season disappeared and they started to premier the second season. Now the only place you can get season 1 is if you buy the entire season on Amazon prime.

This is soo frustrating! The show literally was created in February of 2026, only a few months ago and they already decided to sell the rights to Amazon or something. I am actually angry and I am going to remove my subscription, I barely use paramount plus (even got the higher tier subscription) and when I got really excited and into a show they do this!!! Its crazy.

Feel free to leave more frustrating comments lol.

Changing my fitness regime to more bodyweight and less gym, any calisthenic advice?

Hello Everyone!

So I have been working really hard in the gym with a calorie deficit since the end of September 2025. My fitness goal was to have defined and noticable 6 pack abs without flexing while increasing strength.

I got to a pretty good spot and weight like 14% body fat, I'm not exactly where I want to be but I am okay with where im at for now.

Recently (past 2 or so months) I have been noticing like overuse injuries and such coming up so I decided to take a break from the gym for general recovery. I converted my 6 day a week push, pull, legs, push, pull, cardio set up to running every day with bodyweight and abs/core excersizes post running and 2 days a week in the gym, a push and pull day.

This being said, my plan is to keep losing weight (only have a little to go like 6 lbs I predict) but I want to condition myself for calisthenics and someday I want to do the human flagpole and a few other calisthenic movements. My parallelets are arriving tmr!!

Any suggestions on how I can incorporate bodyweight excersizes to give me the strength, technique, discipline, balance, etc. needed for calisthenic movements?

How do you progress as an engineer without experience?

So this is kind of a rant and kind of a serious question. I graduated with a b.s. in aerospace engineering. I applied to so many jobs after graduation (over 150) and only got like 2 call backs (I had no internship or CoOP experience). The second call I got an interview and a job.

The job is fine, it is a test engineering position in a factory and at this point I have worked here for over 2 years. Not aerospace related at all.

I recently decided to try my hand at applying for jobs again. I figure with 2 years of engineering experience even if its not aerospace but basic engineering at least, would be a good time to apply for jobs, especially because now my options are open, I can actually apply to jobs with an experience requirement.

Moral of the story I am sitting at almost 50 applications, I had one interview with Blue Origin (4 hrs long), and another 30 minute interview with GE Aerospace, and several phone calls with Actalent and a few calls with a few different places.

All in all, I am having better luck then I did after college. But still its long and tedious, changing resumes for each position, rewriting cover letters the whole 9 yards and no offers and hardly any interviews.

What really urks me is how many positions still say 5 years of experience, or 3 years of experience in this specific aerospace speciality, etc. Like some of my applications are a stretch because I don't have any real world Aerospace experience, just trying to make my job experience count a bit towards these positions. Like how am I to get experience if no one gives me a chance.

Lowkey it scares me because I do not want to be stuck in the electric car battery field, and im like I basically have to apply to internships to and take a massive pay cut just to have a chance. Idk rant over

So context, one day I 23M decided that I was a little overweight and my dream body is to have a clearly defined 6 pack of abs without even trying. I worked really hard to lose the weight I had (not crazy only like 20lbs but still very noticeable since I wasn't crazy overweight to begin with).

Calorie deficits, gym 5 -6 days a week, cutting out all bad foods pretty much, stopped drinking mostly, huge change. The whole 9 yards.

So fast forward 6 to 7 ish months, I lost the 20 lbs my abs are showing without even trying besides the lower ab (that mf fat has been holding on for dear life). I am in the best shape I've ever been, I look good and feel good and im so proud of myself.

But lowkey I was hoping that this change would also impact the women around me. I thought that yes I'm doing this for me and I want this, maybe as a bonus girls might notice me more. I noticed it a little bit like getting a few more matches on tinder and whatnot but as it goes those usually dont amount to anything, got a few more hookups I suppose.

So the question is do girls even notice this about a dude or do they really not give af.

I am truly just curious, I am not desperate to get a gf or anything or hookup with people but it seems like nothing much has changed, and I did notice in the gym there is always someone else who is stronger looks better sadly haha. Someday that'll be me
