Night shots hit different when you stop fighting the settings

Summer nights have a way of exposing every bad camera habit.  Why not try a lower shutter speed to capture more light at night, a higher ISO value (ISO 400+) for enhanced image clarity in low light, or increase the exposure for even brighter evening photos?  The camera captures more light without having to work as hard. By tapping and holding to lock exposure, then sliding brightness manually, you get a level of control most of us didn't know was sitting right there. AI stabilization handles the movement. The results tend to speak for themselves.

What camera settings do you actually use for night shots? We’d love to see what people are capturing.
