Quick question about what orientation to pin back8ng to my frame.

Hey yall getting my quilt prepped to put on my frame. This is my first time using a frame and I have a question about which orientation I should pin my wide back. Should I pin width of fabric or length of fabric?

Re: Making Leader Cloth for a quilt frame. Got it all set up!

Hey y'all just wanted to drop in and say thank you for the help in my last post.

I got everything all set up!!

The frame is a Flynn multi-frame. I plan on using it mostly for hand quilting but not opposed to using it for machine quilting down the line.

The legs are the ikea trestle called MITTBACK. And the frame is attached with some super strong velcro.

The poles are approx. 96 inches. so I can make up to a queen size quilt!

For the leaders I decided to go for ticking so I can use the lines woven in as a guide to pin straight.

I cant wait to get my latest project on there!!

If you have any questions about the set up let me know!
