Handling my first set of litter mates. HELP PLEASE 🥰

Hi everyone! My husband and I just adopted 2 brothers from our local ASPCA. For some background context, we do have a 9 year old male, neutered husky who is fantastic with puppies. He raised our last one from 8 weeks to 6.5 years through covid. That puppy was never fixed and passed away from his epilepsy. Our olde boy has been missing his brother, so we adopted him two more.

Anyway, back to the help I need! So a little about these boys, I guess their mom was taken to the shelter and no one knew she was pregnant, so they were surprised by the seven puppies. Every one was being fostered by an older couple until they decided the puppies were too much and sent them back to the shelter while keeping the mom.

So our two boys have been doing everything together. Sleeping in the same kennel, doing every outing together, etc. They’re only 3 months old so I really want to start nipping the litter mate syndrome and other bad habits in the butt now.

What can I do as this is our first time raising litter mates?!??

The other bad habits they seem to have is they are very good about going potty on puppy pads but we really need them to learn to go outside. How can we work on the transition? (Our other puppy we had so young that he never learned puppy pads.)

One of the boys has a little bit of food aggression but right now they are in neighboring, SEPARATE crates and play areas. I don’t need anyone being food aggressive.

And last night was a little rough on them being in separate crates and not being allowed to sleep together. I covered other their crates but left them open to see each other in between to try to help.

Yesterday was their first day home, so please be gentle, but all of the help would be greatly appreciated. We’re looking forward to the adventure!!
