Pain while taking cerazette?

I was prescribed cerazette a couple of years ago for extreme pain the week before and of my period (suspected adeno), went on it for 2 years back to back but it gave me a lot of anxiety so I went off it at the start of 2026. Within 6 months I was in agony so I have started taking it again but rather than pain the week before and of my period I am in pain every single day. I can’t remember if this was what happened 2 years ago, I’m on week 5 or 6 of being back on it, does this happen for the first couple of weeks? I’m waking up every 2 hours with cramping and no pain killers work.

Edit to add I’ve had a mri, hysteroacopy, laparoscopy, colonoscopy, all have shown everything as normal.

Topping up mortgage for renovations

We have a substantial amount of things we want to do to the house that we bought in 2022 and are at a place where we are ready for it, we have been chipping away at the smaller things over the years and now it’s the larger jobs that are left. Our fix term ends at the end of next year, is that the best time to top up the mortgage or does it matter when you do that?

Our property value has increased by 100k last time we checked so we aren’t concerned about LTV. Current rate is 2.75%.

We are starting to plan for a family so we are aware once we have a dependent it’ll mean we get less from the bank, that’s why we are wondering if it’s okay to top up now as we may have a baby by the end of next year.

Dunnes delivery?

First time using Dunnes delivery for tomorrow and I can only get a slot for 1-3pm. I work 10 mins away from the house, will they leave it out for me to come in and put away or do I absolutely need to be there for that 2 hour window?

Builders sand into clay soil?

Hi all, in the process of filling a large bed. I’ve filled it with clay from my garden as I was digging it up, and I have a few bags of compost to add to it. I also have a bit of builders sand laying around from building last years wall and don’t see any use for it in the coming years. Would it be okay to add this to my clay and mix it through? I’m hoping it’ll improve the drainage in the bed but I don’t want to do any harm for any plants I put in there.

Edit: thanks everyone I really appreciate the warning and tips! I’ll not plant anything in there until next year and in the meantime I’ll bulk it out with leaves on the autumn.

Increasing follicle count?

Had a blood test done, AMH is 8 at 32. Went in for an internal ultrasound and they only counted 8 follicles and my right ovary might be too high up to collect from for IVF. doctor said that ovaries move around so may be different at collection, he also said there is no way to increase your follicles and the drugs only develop what is there. I fully believe him, but I’m wondering does anyone know of any ways to increase follicle amounts if there is a way?

We are doing IVF as we are a same sex couple.

Silvia Whiteley Art?

Hi all, does anyone know Silvia Whiteley art? I sent her money a few months ago for 2 commissioned pet mugs, explaining to her that one of them was of my 18 year old cat that passed away. I haven’t heard from her in a long time, and can’t seem to get through to her over Instagram or email. She was meant to have them finished and posted by the end of May. Have I gotten scammed? Her pages seem legit.

Histamine intolerance test?

Has anyone gotten a histamine intolerance test done in Ireland? Where would you recommend? I have seen a few things online but I’m not sure if they’re legit as the price range varies drastically.

I came off of cerazette in January due to 6 months of intense anxiety that was crippling me (the first 18 months I didn’t have anxiety). Anyway, the cramping pain I get from my adeno is getting worse and worse every month and I’m tempted to go back onto cerazette for the summer as it’s impacting my plans and life. Has anyone done this? Did the anxiety come back immediately?

Let’s say a house goes on the market for €390,000 and then the bidding wars start, and the bidding goes up to €500k, will the bank only give you the €390,000 for a mortgage (even if you’re approved for more) and you have to come up with the other €110,000 yourself because it was valued at €390,000? Or is the value it goes to on the market not the valuation the bank will go with?

I was gifted my mums engagement ring on my wedding day. It’s very small and very much an engagement ring design with a solitaire and side diamonds doing down the band, I’m just wondering if anyone has recently redesigned an engagement ring into another piece or jewellery or a different type of ring that could be worn casually? What did that cost? Does anyone have any recommendations for jewellers who do this? I’m thinking of turning it into a bezel design.

My mum loves this idea Incase anyone thinks it should be left as is, we are the exact same in the way we don’t like things not being used. Also my parents are divorced so it’s not really something I’d gift to a future kid to use themself in a marriage.
