Small chat with someone with Koumpounophobia?
Hello! I want to have a chat here on the comments or in dms with people with a phobia of the B word in case it's something you would prefer to discuss in private.
I'm someone who has globophobia and I'm interested to see how many things in common our phobias have, since it's a specific phobia to an everyday object and more.
I wanna address this with respect and curiosity, no shame on it, because hey, I know what it feels like.
Thanks!
Translator font?
I want to get a <brave> tattoo, but I want it on the translator font, does anyone know wich font they used? Or a similar one? Sorry if this was already asked, If needed I'll delete as soon as I know
Fear of letting mew things in, for betraying myself?
Is anyone else here afraid of liking thing they used to not accept(for whatever reason, psychological, sensory problems, etc) for a "fear" of betraying our old slef and what's already established?
Example with food: I used to despise cucumbers as a kid because the texture and flavor bothered me a lot, all my family knows that and make adjustments to put cucumbers aside of salads so it doesn't touches the food and each can put on their own plates as desired, but in the last couple of years, I've been slowly trying it, and it's not as horrible as I thought as a kid, but I haven't told anyone know because I don't know how to deal with the change of the "status quo" of that food and what my family might think of my sudden change.
Same thing with some sweet stuff, I don't have a "sweet tooth", I don't like sweet stuff, but lately, I wanted to try new sweet stuff, marmalade, jam, pudding, but I'm scared to try in case I like it, and I've been avoiding that stuff for all my life because I really didn't like it, but now, maybe I like? I don't know, I've become a little bit bold and maybe open to try new things, again, but only in privacy, because I don't know how to handle the change in my family if they see me eating something I've been avoiding my whole life.
I hope this makes sense, and any commentary is welcome for discussion.
