Hi, Taffers! What do you guys think about this Thief merch? I honestly love all of it, and I’d really like to support the campaign. The thing is, some Taffers have told me that it might not be a good idea and have criticized the comic

Garrett 🫠

Hi! A Taffer already dared to call me crazy, but then he also gave me permission by telling me, “Keep it up,” so I guess I’ll keep being the same shameless, intense, obsessed Garrett Thief fangirl I’ve always been. 😂

Anyway, I’ve seen a lot of Garrett cosplays, especially of the 2014 reboot, and most of them are really good. I like them! But please… I’d love to see a cosplay of classic Garrett even more. Has anyone seen one?

Maybe some handsome and talented guy who dressed up as my lover of the shadows? 😍🤣 Okay, okay, I’ll stop there.

Yes, I’m the one who’s completely obsessed with Garrett. Guilty. 😂

I know I ask some pretty random questions, and maybe some of them are stupid if you look at them that way. Honestly, I don’t care. I know this stuff isn’t important to everyone. For most people, the gameplay, story, atmosphere, level design, and everything else the game does so well are obviously much more important.

But I’m a fangirl who’s hopelessly invested in this fictional man, so you’re just going to have to put up with me.

That said, I actually think Garrett is a very human character. I just feel like something was missing when it came to his emotional side and his relationships.

And yes, I’m going to say it: I kind of wish he had had a girlfriend. 😂 Not necessarily a traditional romance—I honestly can’t picture Garrett being in a normal relationship. But maybe a love interest. A fling. Someone he actually had some kind of emotional connection with.

Something that would have shown us a different side of him.

I think it would have been really interesting to see how Garrett would behave in that situation, and whether having someone close to him would actually change him in any way. Would he become more vulnerable? Would he push her away? Would he pretend he didn’t care while obviously caring way too much? 😂

I don't know. I just think that side of Garrett would have been fascinating to explore. He’s so emotionally guarded that I can’t help wondering what’s underneath all that.

I didn’t make this fanart. My friend Pekec made it for me, and I absolutely loved it. I wanted to share it with you guys, even though I know this isn’t the fandom’s favorite version of Garrett. But look at him—he looks so handsome. 😍

And what I love the most about his face is his nose. Why? I don’t know. It’s just really attractive. 🫠

I genuinely think my boy deserves a decent ending. That ending in Deadly Shadows was clearly left open for a continuation, don’t fucking mess with me. And Thief: Legacy of Shadows? They can shove that cheap excuse for a “legacy” wherever the hell they please. That whole “And Garrett disappeared into the shadows” bullshit? Oh, come the fuck on. A legend like him cannot end like that. He deserves a proper, high-quality ending, not this fucking nonsense. I was so pissed off and I actually cried over it.

How the hell do you just leave him behind like that? He doesn’t deserve that.

THAT’S WHY I genuinely believe—ridiculous as it may sound—that sometime in the next few years, we’ll get a new Thief. I’m not expecting some massive AAA game, but please, give me a damn good AA game. Just make it well-made, make it worthy of Thief, and if they want to, they can finally give my boy an ending—but a proper ending, the kind he actually deserves.
