Started noticing a few months ago that it seems like every week there’s an adult I knew growing up who now has a new ailment, bypass, surgery, cardiac events, cancer, amputation, has died.

My parents (late 60s) are in decent health and enjoy being active. I talk to them all the time but at some point the rundown of who has what gets depressing. How can I do a better job of being supportive while acknowledging I have not seen these people in 20-30+ years?
