Moving house - cleaner recommendations

We’re due to be moving house at the end of the month but due to having 2x small children and full time jobs it’s going to be difficult getting it nice and clean for the new owners. We’re hiring a removal firm and I’d like to also hire a cleaner or company to come do a deep clean similar to an end of tenancy clean.

Does anyone have any recommendations for either an individual or company in Cambridge that offers these cleaning services?

Enquiry questions - what to expect?

TLDR: had our first round of enquiries sent over, there was only 8 and straight forward to answer. Worried this is a false sense of security and we’ll get a pile of difficult ones next. Anyone get completely ridiculous questions?

Trying to get my head around how enquiries work, is it like a domino effect where all questions raised are related to the ones prior as dependant on satisfactory answers? Or should we expect to have random ones asked every time?

Reason I ask is because the first round has seemed too easy, the ones shared with us were only 8 and 5 were related to the solar panels. Each of the 8 was straight forward to answer - with answers being sent back within 24 hrs. Solicitor has also fed back that they had answered some queries already themselves and all seemed standard.

What’s everyone’s experience with this? We’re first time sellers so never had this before and don’t know what to expect. Online says average is anywhere between 20/50?

Nationwide timelines - what was your experience?

We’re in the process of a mortgage application via a broker with Nationwide. I’m curious as to what other people’s timelines recently have been from start to finish and when valuations etc occurred?

Our broker said some are taking 2-days, others up to 15x working days depending on complexity. He had hoped ours would be quick but Nationwide have said they want to conduct an in person viewing (it’s a new build), that was Friday - the EA has not had any contact from them or 3rd party to organise a survey/access. Wondering if that’s normal?

In short timelines are:

  1. Mon 18th - DIP received
  2. Weds 20th - mortgage application sent
  3. Weds 20th - nationwide text to confirm application received
  4. 20th - hard credit check was performed by nationwide (credit karma notification)
  5. Fri 22nd - broker rings to say there’s a note on the portal from nationwide saying they want to book a valuation

Since then - nothing - no valuation booked, no further text updates. I know I’m just being impatient (and Monday was a bank holiday) and the process can take 3-weeks but due to slower market I was hoping for a quick turnaround.
