As the title says. I am set on getting my hands on one during my lunch break tomorrow but I don’t want a mid tier or alright one like a REALLY good one. Which cafes do people recommend?

This morning just before 10am I was cycling toward town on Stourbridge common when a teenage boy (around 15-18 years old, dressed in a black hoodie) sat on bench started shouting some incredibly sexist and disgusting abuse at me. (As a woman I’m quite used to being shouted at on the street - but this was particularly sexist and violent.) I didn’t react to him and continued cycling, but by the time I reached midsummer common he’d caught up with me on his bike and continued shouting in my direction before cycling off as I reached a busier area.

A friend told me he’s seen a boy of similar description shouting abuse at women in Stourbridge common recently too. Has this happened to anyone else?/Is this a regular occurrence? And has anyone reported this?

I’ve now reported it, but I’m not hopeful much will happen with my report alone. Is there anything we can do to make the Stourbridge/Ditton meadows area feel safer for women, especially as evenings get darker as it gets closer to winter??

Really random, but does anyone know why there are always tourists taking photos of each other by the Kimberley Road sign (after crossing Fort St George footbridge and going right). It's not exactly a picturesque spot and kind of out the way for tourists... Just something I noticed

As the title says: I'm looking for redditors who live in the area of these streets, where there are a lot of terraces with copper standing seam roofs, and wood shake siding on the front elevation between ground and first.

There are loads of this typology in the area. 60s (council?) I believe.

I'd love to speak directly with you if you understand the build of these houses - particularly the front elevation.

(This question raised a parallel thought: Has anyone ever heard of groups of people with a similar house type, banding together to share insights to how they are built, and best ways to modify/adapt them? It would seem like a no-brainer massive opportunity!)

Moved to Cambridge this year and have been commuting to New Street 2-3 days per week.

Looking at Advance Singles from Cambridge to Birmingham New Street, I’m seeing tickets double in price (£15 to £30 one way) from the 16th November onwards.

Does CrossCountry usually get more expensive heading towards December, or could the cheapest Advance tickets still be waiting to be released? The fairly abrupt cutoff seems odd. Has anyone noticed this before?

Can anybody help? I think I just saw an meteor explode in the sky. What could it be? 4 October 2026, ~00:25 BST; due south; started ~30° above horizon; travelled ~10° diagonally down-left; very bright, with an apparent explosive flare/fragmentation.

Edit: We are here, and in the beer garden on table 32. (Immediately on the left, under the purple tent)
