We are getting ready to put our house on the market, and we want to do this right. We've talked to a couple of local agents, one is a family friend, and the other is a local neighborhood specialist we found online.
Both seem nice, but we really want to compare them objectively before making a decision. What criteria should we prioritize? We're (really) trying to weigh their recent sales, actual experience in our specific neighborhood, responsiveness, commission rates, and just overall personality fit. It's really hard honestly.
If you've sold a home recently, how did you handle comparing your options? Did you just go with your gut or the best option possible?
She was always trying to get me to take care of my skin. sent me products i didn't use, sent articles i didn't read, gently teased me about my complete indifference to any of it. I just thought of it as a personality difference, and it's not something i needed (i think).
She passed two weeks ago. A few days after that, i found one of the things she'd sent me still in its box and i started using it. Then i looked up what else she'd recommended in old messages, then i built the whole routine she'd been nudging me toward for years.
Every night it's about 10-20 minutes that feel like talking to her a little. I don't know how to explain it better than that. In the end, she was right about all of it, skin is actually pretty better than last week. I just wish i'd listened while she was here you know.
