Cat loafing in Hebrew?

שלום לכולם.
In English when a cat sits like in the picture attached it’s called loafing bc they look like a loaf of bread. Is there a Hebrew equivalent for this? My first guess would be something like לְלַחֵם or like לשבת כמו לחם though thats pretty long. Any help would be appreciated!

Retention of פ״נ in הנפיש

I recently came across the world הִנְפִּישׁ meaning “to animate” and the presence of the initial nun seems incredibly odd to me. Tmk פ״נ assimilates with the following consonant in the hif’il binyan (הביט, הגיד, התיר, etc), so why not here? Why not הִפִּישׁ? I understand that the initial nun is retained if the second root consonant is a guttural or part of a hollow root but נפ״ש is neither, hence my confusion. Is this a modern phenomenon? Is it a non-grammatical colloquialism that became standard? Any help would be appreciated.
