A24 need to add feet to the Elden Ring movie.
It's literally Hidetaka Miyazaki's motif. It's what makes a solesborn game. What's even the point of creating an entire movie to honour a game if you're not going to respect the artist's vision?
Obviously, the feet are gratuitous, and me saying this is probably seen as down bad. But in all seriousness, feet are also used as recurring symbolism throughout the series. The horrors you face, the gods you battle, and the friends you make are all grounded, no different from you. They symbolize vulnerability, ritualism, holiness, and bring a weird beauty to an often rotting and decaying land.
It's a theme supported by Rennala, Fia, Sorceress Sellen, Nepheli Loux, Morgott/Margit, Mohg, Radagon, Queen Marika, Miquella, the Fire Giant, and a load more enemies. It would be like taking the theme of dolls out of the game.
We love you folks, but please don't screw this movie up. Respect the art.
