What’s keeping zoomers from being more rebellious?
Normally I would badger the parents but at this point you guys are old enough to take control.
I just saw a statistic that more than half of zoomer college students let their parents track them. I see post regularly from people in their mid 20s fighting with their parents for going out after 9pm or some other nonsense. There was one today where a 25 year old had to explain to her mother why she went to a grocery store. The mom was like, “You met a boy, be honest.”
Why do you guys put up with this stuff? I pretty much started telling my parents to fuck off as soon as I hit 16. The kids that didn’t fight with their parents just lied to them. We all wanted freedom though. We wanted freedom so bad it felt like needing to sneeze.
Of course the parents will claim that they will cut you off or send you to military school but you just call their bluff and you push boundaries daily until you wear them down.
You can’t fall for all the soft parenting, reverse psychology, tricks modern parents will play. You must understand that at a base level your parents are the enemy of your freedom. You can love them, but you have to win a freakin war of boundaries to live the life you want.
It’s ok, it’s a natural part of growing up. The unnatural thing is for the parents to cling to their young so hard. You have to cut this out. They need to learn to respect you, or face awkward humiliation, and distance.
Go throw the apple tag tracker things in the dumpster behind the worst business in town. When they threaten to cut you off, promise you’ll send them a link to your future only fans. Or follow up and say your friend told you it’s easier to just work at the strip club because you don’t have to think of content ideas and it’s easier to work the clients in person.
Like, your mother was swinging her melons at spring break and mardi gras. They were doing jeagar bombs and keg stands of natty ice. Your dad was smoking seedy weed out of coke cans. These people cannot judge you. Tell them to fuck off, seriously.
Seize some power from these weirdos. You would be doing them a massive favor because these silly parents should be living their own lives instead of wondering why their kid went out to a bar.
Maybe my perspective skewed but 25 seems like ten years too late to be trying to go out without your parents in another state being up your ass.
So zoomer, what’s your excuse for living life like a dystopian sci-fi novel?
Also if any of you weirdo parents want to speak up so I can publicly attack you for your controlling perversions, feel free.
