Am I wrong for being mad at my bf
My girlfriend and I moved in together in the middle of February , and at first everything was great. We were excited to finally live together and have that time with each other after being together for years. But shortly after moving in, her job started sending her out of town constantly. Shes a local trucker, not an OTR driver, so I never expected her to be gone for such long periods of time.
She was gone for basically the entire month of march and was only home for about two weeks in April . Now, I’ve been told I probably won’t see her again until September because her trips keep getting extended. I understand that he’s working and I’m proud of her for working, but it’s starting to feel like we moved in together just to go back into a long-distance relationship.
She tells me that my feelings are valid, and sometimes she gives me money or says she’ll take me out when he gets back, but that isn’t really what I’m asking for. I want time with her. I want to feel like we’re actually living together and building a relationship together. Every time I get excited about him coming home, his trip gets extended again, and it’s becoming frustrating and emotionally exhausting.
I don’t want him to think I’m mad at her for working. I’m mad at the situation and hurt because I feel like I’m constantly waiting for my girlfriend to come home. I just want her to understand that money and future plans
Mdon’t replace actually having her here with me.
