The Yellowstone Coalition
The Yellowstone Coalition is an established micronational project located in America. Over its 8 years in the community, the project has focused on maintaining a realistic and grounded approach, though its history includes significant periods of conflict. This history is heavily defined by the events of the Yellow War, which concluded in October 2025. A defining moment of the conflict was Operation Thunderpath-1, commonly known as the Battle of White Rock Ridge. During this engagement, the Coalition's main assault force, the 1st Kriegsmarine Battalion, attempted an amphibious landing against entrenched militia ridge defenses. The Coalition forces suffered heavy losses and were forced to retreat, a major military setback that ultimately led to the signing of an armistice. Following the armistice, a short-lived Communist rebellion briefly seized control, but their power quickly dissolved from the inside out, allowing the Yellowstone Coalition to reclaim control and reform. All of these historical events, operations, and tactical maneuvers were conducted entirely in real life with physical equipment and participants, rather than being simulated in a video game or roleplayed online. Following these events, the project has shifted back toward its foundational elements. For a quick overview, the nation officially recognizes two national animals: the mountain lion and the tuxedo cat. The main goal moving forward is to maintain a lively presence in the community while connecting with other active, well-established micronations.
