Advice on continuing fin/min or not

I made a post on r/tressless a while ago that got removed. These pictures are before I started using topical min/fin a few months ago. It’s gotten worse due to the initial shed, which I’m not concerned about as I’m at like month 4. The problem is I’m wondering if it was even the right call for me to start the meds. My hair had definitely thinned out ALOT. Shedding for roughly a year, but still had a good amount. Also these photos are obviously with long hair and right after a shower. I am considering if is stop now and watch my hair for a few years, but am concerned about another shed. I know you are supposed to “reset to baseline” after getting off meds which presumably would be MORE hair than right now but have never seen anyone talk about this particular situation. Given the photos and my explanation, I’m wondering what yall would do in my situation?

2 months fin given worrying amount of shed. Is this volume normal?

Basically what the title says. I know the fun she d phase is real, but I was surprised at how much hair I’d pulled out on running my hand through my hair once (hair clump on the left). I went to a sink and basically shook the she hair out to see what was up, and ended up sending a picture to my buddy who’s been on for a little over a year now. He said that was more than he shed at one time by a decent amount. Wondering if she’d size varies this much or if I should be worried. Either way I’ll stick it out for at least 6 more months, but it’d help with mental if someone had this much loss on their first shed as well. Or if not to let me know that it’s a problem and to hop off. This is easily the thinnest my hair has felt/looked and it’s at the point where it is actually getting noticeable. I started early enough that I was hoping to avoid it being noticeable but that might be impossible now. Thanks!

Oral vs Topical

I (23M) just started topical fin 4 weeks ago because I noticed my hairline and some of my crown receding. I am doing the Hims fin + min+ biotin + ket spray. However I am noticing that my hair might be diffuse thinning more than i realized. I’m worried that with the 4 suggested sprays per day for this treatment, I’m missing crucial areas. Is it worth sticking out until months 6-12 to notice regrowth or is getting oral fin and topical minox a better approach? I’d steered clear of oral fin for the side effects, but im less worried about that now after seeing how low the risk is (and being very much single so the effects wouldn’t change much anyways). Looking for advice from people that have been on treatment for a while. Thanks!
