Timing is being pulled consistently on stage 1 tune can’t figure it out I’m on 91 tune running 93 spark plugs have 4k miles on them and there oem spark plugs it’s only alarming on cly 1
So I have tryna hunt down this cat code I took it to my local bmw tech and I was told my clamp was rusted away and causing exhaust leak and it was so clamp got replaced and I got the same code today and a check engine light I was doin my spark plugs as well today and found oil on every plug on top threads as u can see in pics no oil consumption or misfires or power loss but I am getting a kind vibration on warm start like shaking that comes and goes and last for like 5 seconds then car is normal small amount of oil in well in pic as well none on coil packs just lost atp.
Ik there are plenty of post around this same subject I am very aware that b58 are pretty noisy motors this is my first BMW so I am a bit new the car makes this sound on cold start just a tad louder this was a warm start car was driven like 2 hours prior to this video sound goes away after any commute really car has been maintained religiously and babied it’s whole life with some spirited driving ofc and yes 5 k oil changes my car is at 76k so out of its warranty period so just had me slightly worried if it sounds healthy or not. And question for b58 owners if our cars are so “reliable” why are we all so paranoid like this lol?????
