Where to live? New Grad working in Redwood City

Hey everyone! For context, I had a place picked out in East Bay, but then my future employer shifted me to another office due to a last minute restructure. I will now be working in Redwood City starting mid-September and need a place to live and would love some help narrowing the places to look. I am originally from the midwest so I have little knowledge of this area.

I am 23M, a software engineer, single, Vietnamese/Chinese, and from Minnesota. I don't mind a 30-45 minute commute, but shorter would be positive. I don't care for nightlife, but do enjoy meeting people my age, chill hangouts, etc. I would like to join a martial arts gym, stay active whether thats hiking, biking, golf, volleyball, etc. And walkability is a nice-to-have but I value that a lot.

If there are any recommendations based on your experience I'd love to hear about them! Was originally planning on driving down the end of next week.

Edit: Able to work hybrid, preferred to be in 4 days in office. Ideally my budget stays around 3500(?), can creep up towards 4000 if its a no-brainer.

Thoughts on Microlearning automation and going beyond recall?

Hey all, I’m building a microlearning platform and trying to learn from the people actually creating courses before I build too many assumptions in.

I’ve seen some threads here about automation and content creation tools, which is part of what we’re working on. But I’d love to hear directly: what are the biggest pain points when creating a course or breaking content down into microlearning format? Where does the process break down; is it structuring the content, keeping learners engaged, measuring whether it actually worked, something else?

We have the consumer side up so you can see what we’ve built in terms of the learning experience, and we do have an early version of the creator portal where can create your own micro learnings too. If you’d like to try, it’s https://metis-learn.io
