Bought a ticket for the wrong day and don't know what to do. (DC)
The other day I accidentally bought a second ticket for Friday when I meant to purchase one for Saturday. I called Ticketmaster immediately after I realized my mistake, and they told me my only option was to sell or call the insurance company (I purchased ticket protection; please don't scold me). I called Allianz and they said I have to wait until I receive an email with the ticket protection policy number to see what they can do, which I still haven't received. I am not sure what to do because I don't know how successful I will be in trying to sell the ticket before the festival or if Allianz will be able to do anything for me. Has anyone else made this same mistake and been able to resolve it? Any help or advice would be immensely appreciated. Thanks!
