My first backpack versus one of my last

I made most of them for my Savotta fan club in Instagram

First, thank you for sharing your ideas and tips on #1.
I found 2 straps that were forgotten in a trunk and came up with this setup.
It’s really firmly attached to the backpack and by opening the buckles you get a full access of the inside of the Askare.
It’s one option but it seems interesting.
I need to load the bag and test that.
Still hearing your suggestions!

I have a K40 with 2 x 6L side pockets.
How do I mount my Askare :

* Vertically (picture 1), knowing that my side straps are used for side pockets. What do I need then 4x males, 4x females and straps ?
*Horizontally (pic 2) : what do I need for a firm grip against the bag ? Don’t want something moving when I walk.
