What’s your favorite patch in the picture? :)

My great grandad was a pilot in the 429 Squadron in ww2. And I'm looking for a 429 Squadron patch or info on the 429 Squadron in general. The patch looks like that. Any help or info is appreciated.

Started with one idea and somehow ended up making dozens of different colourways.
They’re custom embroidered patches made purely for collecting and display—not original brand patches and not intended to be passed off as such.
Some are already hanging on my display wall, others are still sitting in boxes.

Digging through a box of patches earlier, and found... this. No idea where it cane from, Tineye couldn't find it, and Groobul image search dumped an AI response that is suspect, at best, and not matching images.

Any ideas that aren't AI fever dreams?

My wife has an embroidery machine and likes small-batch production of patches. Due to that has no reddit-acc and she is not overwhelmingly convinced that her works are great i see it as my responsibility to present some of her work.
