Unions to join in SoCal that don’t have super long waiting lists?
I work in factories and do fabrication,machine operation, and a little bit of welding (not the best) I also have experience in assembly. I tried joining the sheet metal union but messed up on the shapes part of the test (didn’t realize you only get scored on what you complete so I did way too many beyond my shape knowledge lmao) And I’ve been making kinda crap money for a while and I think I want to join a union but I don’t want to wait years. Anyone have any advice?

Questions about A-rig/umbrella rig
I’ve been using my umbrella rig at a few spots in San Pedro and seal beach but I didn’t catch anything on it. I’ve seen a few guys online use it at it seemed like a fish magnet. On all 5 I have the same size jig heads and all the same size swim baits. Can I get any tips to make it catch fish? I want some calicos and bay bass!

Anyone fish in the harbors, ports, and docks?
I see people on YouTube fish off of the little dock fingers in Newport and in certain spots in the port of Long Beach near the containers and stuff and was wondering if I could tag along with anyone who knows some spots.

Any recommendations for a harbor/bay set up?
I have a 9 foot Daiwa emcast and a bg4500 and I really enjoy them but I’d like a lighter/smaller setup for bags and harbors. Do you guys have any recommendations? Also if anyone wants to fish weekend mornings let me know!
