Crownland/free Camping spot needed Drayton Valley area

My dog Ozwaldo and I are new to crownland camping but are hoping to take our first adventure sometime this coming week thinking Thursday afternoon to Sunday afternoon but open to options. Is there somewhere close to Drayton Valley (but opent to anywhere between there and Calgary) that ideally has some water access that you would suggest?

I know its really last minute but we are up for an adventure. I have an SUV so if its somewhere for car camping that works otherwise I do have a tent as well if there is a good spot to pitch it.

Canadian owners!

Canadians (especially if you're in Alberta!), I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I'm most likely picking up a 2024 Hyundai Tucson Ultimate Hybrid this week, as long as the numbers work out. I'll be upgrading from a 2012 Honda Civic LX, so I know it's going to be a huge improvement!

I have a few questions for current owners:

• What are you actually getting for L/100 km?

• Does it have enough oomph for merging and passing on the highway? I drive Deerfoot in Calgary every day.

• How do you find the different drive modes? Especially Snow mode during Alberta winters.

• If you have dogs, how do you have the back set up? Mine prefers lying down instead of sitting on the seats, so I'd love to see your setups.

• Any reliability issues or things I should keep an eye on?

• What accessories do you consider must-haves?

• What's something you wish you knew before taking delivery?

Overall, are you happy with your Tucson? If you had the chance to do it all over again, would you buy it again?

Thanks everyone! I'm excited and hoping to officially join the Tucson family soon! 😊
